Assistant Professor Smiljana Cvjetkovic, PhD
Smiljana Cvjetkovic, MSc in psychology, PhD in Public Health, assistant professor at the Department of Humanities at Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. She has more than 10 years of research and project management experience in the field of Public Health and Community Psychology. Although predominantly engaged in scientific research and teaching, she was gaining professional experience through various professional roles. She was involved in employee selection, as well as in creation and moderation of a large number of seminars and psychological workshops realized within national and international projects. Her professional activities are mostly focused on the population of children and young, and on vulnerable groups. She was writing popular scientific articles in psychology and she did translations in English and Spanish. Combining practical experience with the wide range of theoretical knowledge she is committed to translation of research to practice in various fields, including health communication and health behavior, psychology of diversity, and counseling psychology and psychotherapy. She is member of Serbian Psychological Society and International Society of Global Health, and vice–president of Fragile X Society — BALKANS.
